Logrono

5/21/19
We stayed in a grungy albergue last night, 10 in a room and no one slept I don’t think.
Los Arcos was a pretty town though.
A really good bad wine last night

Los Arcos Cathedral this morning

Dinner in the mayors square last name got it n Los Arcos
Leaving Los Arcos this morning was chilly but clear, until the sun turned vicious and made for hard hiking on the tough hills before, then shortly after lunch. All in all it was a good day though as my body gets used to this daily routine again. My left knee has been playing up a bit, just a twinge, but I need to keep an eye on it as we have a few rough days ahead.

Leaving Viana towards Last Groningen
An enterprising fellow selling from a makeshift hut to pilgrims, I had a great ham and cheese

The walk into the city was a long hard packed slog and as much as i complained about the cold before, I was almost tempted to complain about todays heat. We have now crossed out of The region of NAVARRA, and into the autonomous region of La Rioja, capital of the wine region.
Coming into Lagrono over the Rio Ebro, Spain’s largest river
