6/10/19.
I’m really grumpy this morning, it was a sleepless night in the hostel, with a cacophony of snores and coughs, and
farts from the full hostel dorm, mixed with the dinging bells that were hanging from the necks of the cows in the field outside. I have felt sleep deprived now for a few days and it’s wearing on me. I don’t do well this tired and I’m going to have to watch myself today that I don’t get snippy with someone, it’s not my character to get snippy but I’m just exhausted from no sleep.
You know your in a bad mood when you hike out and stop for a snack in the next town, sit down, and you just want to throttle the nice kids who are singing happy birthday to their friend.................happy birthday my ass..
Following the route we closed in on the top of the mountain, but it was pretty much covered to fog, the route was still wet but this early , your main concerns were with the damp chill, and not working up a sweat so you froze as you moved up the path.

The descent went on for 3 hours till we came to the village where I met my dog guard.

| We are now in Galicia province for real, cattle and crops on rolling hills, it’s a beautiful area |
I’ve walked off my frustration of not getting any sleep for the past few nights and feel good about getting into this night stop which is peeking through the trees as we enter the valley

| Little Triacastela town |
Coming home into Triacastela we came past this 850 year old Sweet Chestnut tree that’s 8.5 meters in circumference and 2.8 meters across
